Going out in the town of Alfred asking strangers what was in their pockets was very hard for me. I am a shy person and I don’t like to go up to people and start a conversation. I asked about five people what was in there pocket and they thought I was trying to rob them, they were really spooked and uncomfortable. The fifth person finally wanted to listen to what I had to say and ask them. It was a delivery man parked in front of the bank. He was a very cooperative and was intrigued in the “project” we were doing.
The object that I was gladly gifted was a dime from 2006. The man had nothing other than change in his pocket. He told me it was from his Dunkin’ stop before work. He got a medium hot coffee with milk and sugar and a strawberry donut.
